Born in the USA (in Wilmington, Delaware where Cedella used to live, Bob’s mather) in 1972 Stephen Marley has got a wide experience both as singer and as producer. His solo project “Mind control” won the Grammy Award in 2008 and also in 2010 with the “unplugged” version.
Stephen has been a producer of many of the Marley Youth projects: he contributed as a producer to the victory of the awards of Junior Gong’s solo albums “Half way tree” and “Welcome to Jamrock”, as well as “Distant Relatives”, in collaboration Nas. Apart from this he has also produced the project of the “virtual” duets of Bob Marley’s “Chant down Babylon” in 1999 and he has singed with great black music stars as Erykah Badu, Fugees and Michael Franti. His last project is the very recent new solo CD “Revelation part 1: The root of life”.
